Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna is set to land at JKIA Wednesday morning at 9:45 am.
His trip back to Kenya was on Tuesday interrupted after Kenyan government issued a red alert barring him from travelling to any African country.
He has urged Kenyans to “blame the rogue despot for the desperate, cowardly and illegal red alert”.
He was blocked from boarding a connecting flight to Nairobi from Germany.
He said he had been stopped by Lufthansa airline officials boarding the flight to Nairobi where he was scheduled to arrive at 9.25pm.
“I am at the Lufthansa Check-In and they are saying the Kenyan security has blocked me from entering Kenya,” Miguna said, after the Kenyan Immigration Department announced it would honour a court order to facilitate Miguna’s entry.
He also claimed that the Kenyan government had “demanded that Lufthansa should not fly me into any other African country, either.”
However, on Tuesday evening, the self-declared General announced that he will be arriving at JKIA on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 9:45am.
He argued that he is a Kenyan by birth.
“HOMEBOUND. Unbowed! Dynamic. Resourceful.Arrival: JKIA, on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 at 9:45 a.m. A Kenyan by BIRTH and RIGHT.
Kenyans are not slaves. Freedom must come through the fearless the pursuit of truth and justice. See you in Nairobi,” he tweeted.
