Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is among the candidates preferred for the Deputy President post should DP Rigathi Gachagua get removed from office by impeachment.
In a latest poll released by InfoTrak, Raila has garnered 2 per cent.
The poll places Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki as the favourite candidate to take over from DP Gachagua.
CS Kindiki stands as the most preferred candidate after garnering 20 per cent, followed by Kirinyaga County governor Anne Waiguru and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi who have tied at 5 per cent.
Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga came fourth alongside Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro at 4 per cent.
However, DP Gachagua has vowed to defend his position to finality, claiming that the charges imposed on him were unfair and that his current woes were politically orchestrated.
282 MPs voted to impeach Gachagua, with 44 voting against his ouster.
