Sina East MP Junet Mohamed has broken his silence after the acting Inspector General of Police Noor Gabow disbanded the DCI Special Service Unit (SSU).
Taking to his official Twitter account this morning, the ODM director of elections said that disbanding of the DCI unit should not be the beginning of the formation of a new special unit loyal to the new regime.
The head of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition secretariat hilariously dragged Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi into the new DCI regime.
President William Ruto Saturday October 15 appointed Amin Mohamed Ibrahim as the new director of DCI, replacing George Kinoti.
“This is very good Bwana IG but we hope this is not the beginning of the formation of a NEW special Unit loyal to the new Regime under the command of Major General Oscar Sudi,” said Junet.
The DCI through their official social media accounts Sunday morning announced that the agency’s special service unit had been disbanded and their officers recalled to DCI headquarters.
The statement further said that the move came as the DCI prepares for reorganization under the new regime.
