Dagoretti North Member of Parliament (MP) Beatrice Elachi has been thrown into deep mourning following the death of her son Elvis Murakana Namenya.
Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, announced the death of Elvis as he passed his message of condolence to the lawmaker.
Alai stated that his thoughts were with Elachi as the family navigates the grief.
“Dear Hon. Beatrice Elachi, It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana. As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoretti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss. Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. May you find strength and solace in the love and support that surrounds you. Elvis, your fourth child, will forever remain in our hearts and memories. On behalf of the Kileleshwa Ward community, I offer our unwavering support and prayers for you and your family as you navigate this grief,” Elai stated.
President William Ruto has also mourned Elvis in a heartfelt message of condolence to Beatrice Elachi, shared via his official social media accounts.
“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Rest in peace, Elvis,” Ruto stated.
