Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has admitted to paying millions of shillings to Amaco Insurance, a company reportedly associated with Deputy President Dr William Ruto.

Speaking on Wednesday night on the Pointblank show hosted by Tony Gachoka, Governor Sonko rebuffed claims that the payment smacked of corruption.

“I paid Amaco. A company which is associated with the Deputy President, ” he said.

According to the flamboyant county boss, the Nairobi County government entered into a contract with the insurance company even before he became the governor.

The contract would see vehicles belonging to the county government of Nairobi panel beaten back to shape should they be damaged.

Sonko explained that Amaco sub-contracted panel beating to another company he said is owned by his friend.

He rejected claims that the award of the tender was flawed, saying that Amaco was subjected to a competitive and rigorous process before the tender was awarded.

The payment to Amaco is part of an ongoing investigation initiated by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

According to the EACC, money was wired to Governor Sonko’s personal account by an individual who was given a tender by the county government of Nairobi, raising questions of financial impropriety.

After being attacked by Kenyans for continuously disrespecting ODM leader Raila Odinga by digging into his family matters on social media, self proclaimed general Dr Miguna Miguna has unleashed another scathing attack against deputy president Dr William Ruto.

Miguna had on Tuesday promised Kenyans that his ‘revolutionary hammer’ would today (Wednesday) fall on DP Ruto.

In the video shared on his social media handles and you tube, Miguna says that he had spared Ruto during his regular attacks on Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta just because Ruto is a deputy.

While referring to Ruto as a deputy despot, Miguna alleges that DP’s controversies dates back in early 90’s when he joined KANU has his studies at the University of Nairobi.

He alleges that the DP alongside former presidential candidate Cyrus Jirongo became KANU’s vicious youth leaders back in 1992.

He accuses Ruto, who he claims they schooled together at UoN, of forgetting about his visionary Christianity to join KANU instead of looking for work to do.

He further alleges that Ruto alongside Jirongo started brutalising Kenyans and spread propaganda as the main language of the ruling party.

The controversial lawyer says that it is in 1992 when the two started looting and plundering the economy of Kenya.

Digging into Ruto’s personal life, Miguna alleges that the DP has a son with Akinyi Odinga, a sister to Raila.

He alleges that Ruto has 27 children withing two years, with him managing to have over 30 children between 2007 and 2012.

A woman allegedly presented herself as a State House employee able to provide a tender for a military surveillance system, complete with all equipment and logistics — and a mandatory non-disclosure clause.

Another time, she allegedly presented herself as an employee of Deputy President William Ruto, able to provide tenders for 2,800 HP laptops valued at Sh180 million; one tender was for 120 laptops.

In both cases, the complainants were taken in by utterly convincing Wangari Kamau, alias Patricia Mareka.

She allegedly was part of a ring of fraudsters.

Kamau,  according to prosecution and victims, uses fake names and masquerades as a project manager or procurement officer at either State House or Harambee House Annex.

She also allegedly was part of a team of people masquerading as intelligence and military officers.

On Tuesday the woman who had been on the run for a year stood before a Kiambu magistrate and faced multiple fraud charges involving fake procurement deals linked to State House and the Department of Defence.

Kiambu senior principal magistrate Stellah Atambo ordered Kamau to be remanded at Lang’ata Women’s Prison until November 5, pending a bond hearing.

She is accused of defrauding Charles Ng’ang’a of Sh40 million and another Sh96 million by claiming that she was in a position to award him a tender to supply a military surveillance system, including 120 HP laptops for Sh96 million.

Kamau allegedly claimed the surveillance system was complete with equipment and logistical support and said a non-disclosure agreement was required.

There were various other tenders besides those for military surveillance and laptops, and a number of complainants.

Kamau faces other counts of falsely presenting herself as a State House employee.

Her lawyer Njau Kayai appealed for bail, saying his client is mentally ill and will not jump bail.

However, the prosecution objected, saying she had been on the run for a year after jumping bail in another similar case before a Milimani court, that one involving laptops and the DP’s office.

Kayai told the court his client hadn’t appeared because she suffers from a mental condition and therefore could not fully understand the conditions attached to her bail terms.

He also said that she had been admitted to Mathari Mental Hospital because of her condition, hence, the reason for her non-appearance. Kayai tabled a medical report indicating that Kamau she suffers from aggression.

The prosecution disputed the report, saying anyone could obtain documents from a doctor to support their claims. The prosecution said the investigating officer verified from Mathare that Kamau had been an outpatient only.

She is also accused of forging tender documents purporting them to be genuine, signed by Maj Gen Fatuma Ahmed Gaiti.

It is alleged that the accused introduced herself as ‘Ms Muhoro’, allegedly dropping government officials’ names and departments to lure victims with fake tenders.

In the case at the Milimani law courts, she is charged together with Alan Chesang and Augustine Matata.

Matata is in custody after a warrant for his arrest was issued for skipping court.

It is alleged that between May 30, 2018, and August 12, 2018, jointly with others not in court, the accused conspired to offer a fraudulent tender, in the name of Deputy President William Ruto for the supply of 2,800 laptops valued at Sh180 million.

The court heard that they obtained the laptops by false pretences from Makindu Motors Limited along Mombasa Road jointly with others who have not been arrested.

They allegedly presented fake local purchasing orders from the Deputy President’s office to defraud the complainants by claiming that the office was procuring the laptops.

The matter has been adjourned several times for several reasons, including the suspects’ absence.

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has accused Deputy President William Ruto of holding political grudges over comments she perceives targets her community.

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MP made the comments on Sunday at the tail end of K24’s Punchline show when she was asked what she thinks of DP Ruto’s ability to lead the country.

“I would say Ruto needs to work on certain issues. He holds grudges…He needs to stop talking about “hawa watu wa kung’oa reli,” said Odhiambo.

The Suba North MP said that Dr Ruto does not endear himself to her because of the alleged ethnic bias.

“When you are in politics, there is no rear view mirror. In the last election, I did say unpleasant things against Uhuru but now I am saying nice things about him,” said Ms Odhiambo.

She used the opportunity to praise her ODM leader, Raila Odinga, saying he does not hold grudges and affirmed her support for his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Kibra by-election has raised questions about President Kenyatta’s succession strategy and who he truly supports between ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.

While the President has been consistent in his public support and defence of the handshake with Raila, Ruto’s supporters insist the President has not abandoned their man.

The Kibra by-election has lifted the lid on the President’s perceived delicate bid to hold onto the two protagonists in a strategic move not to disrupt the delivery of his Big Four agenda.

While Uhuru’s supporters among them Nairobi Senator John Sakaja previously said Jubilee would not field a candidate in Kibra, Ruto picked footballer Macdonald Mariga and ensured he was on the ballot against  Raila’s candidate Imran Okoth.

On September 18, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino launched a scathing attack on Kenyatta after the President endorsed Mariga.

Owino accused the President of betraying the handshake by choosing to back the former Inter Millan midfielder who is running on a Jubilee ticket.

“Baba must be very careful with this thing called handshake. No fruits so far. We can’t be duped twice. President Uhuru must be genuine with this handshake,” Owino said in a Facebook post.

“Baba, we must be very careful and if the “marriage” is void because  one party is incompetent for being in a subsisting marriage or voidable because it’s not consummated then we must be out very fast.

“We need not lie to each other and in return, their intention is to embarrass you. Jubilee must never and will never win Kibra. I’m ready to go back to the bush.”

On Sunday while campaigning, Mariga claimed the Head of State calls him to check on his progress.

“Baba must be very careful with this thing called handshake. No fruits so far. We can’t be duped twice. President Uhuru must be genuine with this handshake ,”MP Babu Owino

“You all know the person who gave me the Jubilee cap? I was with a host of Jubilee MPs. We sat down with the President and he told me during my campaigns I should talk to the Akiguyu community in Kibra and they will not fail to support me,” Mariga said.

A day after Mariga met Uhuru at State House, nominated MP Maina Kamanda met Raila and announced he would campaign for Imran.

Chief Administrative Secretary Rachel Shebesh met women leaders two weeks ago and claimed that the Head of State was ambushed and that he was not backing Ruto.

“He has a mouth. Have you heard him say he supports Mariga?,” paused Shebesh who is known to be close to Uhuru.

“The President is well aware that any mishap to antagonise the Deputy President or Raila would directly slow down his desire to deliver on his legacy programmes,” said university don Macharia Munene.

Munene, a lecturer at the United States International University, told the Star the President is walking a political tightrope.

“The President is largely silent when Ruto and Raila are fighting. For example in Kibra, the President is trying to appease both camps because for him, whatever the outcome, that would be a non-issue,” he said.

Until the handshake last year, Ruto enjoyed a lot of privileges and power.  After Uhuru and Raila announced their truce Uhuru went out of his way to shower Raila and defend their deal as he maintains relative harmony between the two politicians.

Ruto and his supporters have seized every opportunity to attack Raila and his ODM even accusing the opposition chief of importing confusion into Jubilee.

As the President has kept off altercations between the two, Raila has been behaving like a state officer and sometimes issuing orders to public servents as his troops launch attacks on Ruto.

RAILA ATTACK

Ruto and his supporters have seized every opportunity to attack Raila and his ODM even accusing the opposition chief of importing confusion into Jubilee.

Unlike before when Kenyatta and Ruto attended the same functions, even wore similar shirts and ties, the President has been conducting his activities alone and is reportedly not consulting the DP as much as he did in his first term.

On the other hand the President has appeared in functions with Raila even celebrated Raila’s birthday in Mombasa on January 7 and visited the Opposition leader in his Bondo home.

NEW FRIENDS?

The President has thrown the two politicians into further confusion by his relationship with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi.

People close to the Head of State have told the Star that the President has been talking to Mudavadi, his childhood friend, frequently and even encouraging him to continue playing the role of Opposition leader.

During the Kenya Open golf event in Karen early this year, the two are understood to have held a two-hour meeting.

“The body language between the two suggested that they were on the same page,” said a source in the President’s team.

Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula says the President could swing a surprise because no one knows his plan.

“We do not know what the handshake is about. President is either being dishonest with Ruto or Raila. Both Ruto and Raila are operating in the dark, both trying to make intelligent guesses,” said Wetang’ula.

Starehe MP Charles Njagua said the President is not in any dilemma as he has demonstrated his support for Mariga.

“The President has been clear who he is supporting. It is the other camp that is misguided,” Njagua said.

While Uhuru has avoided to publicly campaigning for Mariga for the November 7 by-election just as he did during the one in Wajir West, he has equally not denounced claims by a section of anti-Ruto forces that he is supporting ODM.

Belgut MP Nelson Koech challenged Uhuru to “put Jubilee’s house in order”, saying his silence has “created a perception that he is a lame-duck President.”

“While I know that the President is fully backing Mariga, it will be in the best interest not just of Jubilee but that of the country for him or through his communication department to come out to clear this confusion,” he said.

Dagoretti North MP John Kiarie dismissed claims Uhuru is not keen on Mariga’s candidacy, saying the Jubilee boss is firmly behind the football star.

“Jubilee has one candidate who was endorsed by President Uhuru Kenyatta himself. Those saying Mariga is not a Jubilee candidate are political rejects who were defeated in the last elections and are bitter with the DP,” Kiarie said.

Embakasi North MP James Gakuya said both Shebesh and Kamanda were embarrassing the President and called on the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua to crack the whip on her.

“Kamanda and Shebesh are misleading our supporters that the President does not support Mariga. It is unfortunate that they have been allowed to take that route and disciplinary action should be taken against them. The two should respect the President who is our party leader deputised by DP William Ruto,” he said.

Deputy President (DP) William Ruto has warned opposition politicians to keep off affairs of the government in a veiled attack on Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Meru on Sunday, DP Ruto said he would continue crisscrossing the country because that is his constitutional mandate.

“Wale watu wanashida na mimi kutembea Kenya waende wasome katiba..Watu wa upinzani wafanye kazi yao (Those of who have issues with me criss crossing the country should go and read the Constitution, those in the opposition should stick to their work),” said the Deputy President.

Several Jubilee MPs who attended the church service at Kithirune Methodist Church in Central Imenti urged civil servants to ignore roadside orders issued by Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila.

The MPs said Raila has no power to issue such orders, adding that such directives can only come from government officials.

Speaking during a prayer service at Kithirune Methodist Church of Kenya in Central Imenti, Meru County on Sunday which was attended by Deputy President William Ruto, the leaders said Raila was taking advantage of the handshake.

The MPs said Raila was usurping President Uhuru Kenyatta’s powers.

Among the lawmakers who attended the service were: Raheem Dawood (North Imenti), Moses Kirimi (Central Imenti), Mugambi Rindikiri (Buuri), Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira), Silvanus Osoro (South Mugirango) and Halima Mucheke (nominated)

Mr Gachagua dismissed Raila’s directive to stop dredging works in the Indian Ocean to allow divers retrieve bodies of Mariam Kighenda and her daughter Amanda Mutheu.

“Those orders are his own jokes. We urge all civil servants to ignore Mr Odinga’s directive; he has no authority over such,” he said.

Mr Osoro criticised Raila, telling him that such orders can only come from the President.

Just a day after Deputy President Dr William Ruto cursing out Nation Media Group over a controversial headline that ran on Thursday, his lawyer in the case case involving Weston Hotel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has slammed Standard Newspaper over another headline.

The Standard on Friday morning ran a headline titled “Bank Fights to Get Back one billion from Ruto hotel”, which Ahmednasir has termed as fraudulent.

While referring to the Mombasa road-based media house as a gutter press, the Grand Muller said false reporting is the paper’s stock in trade.

This is not the first time the DP has been at a tussle with media houses over headlines.

Early last month, Ruto lashed out at The Standard newspaper over what he termed as ‘desperate gutter journalism lies of drama.’

The DP’s remarks were in reaction to an article published by the newspaper which reported an alleged airport drama involving one of the DP’s men when President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in the country from Japan on Thursday.

In august, Ruto again had put the Standard newspaper on the spot over a story they had published.

The DP referred to the publication’s article titled, ‘BBI A Waste of Taxpayers Money’, as misleading and alarming.

He, therefore, took to his Twitter account, where he expressed his displeasure with the said newspaper.

Deputy President Dr William Ruto has been in a tussle with Media houses not less than once over controversial headlines.

Just recently, the DP has been been seen blasting the Standard Media Group on several occasions over controversial headlines that run with his name, and now, he has turned his anger to the Nation Media Group.

On Thursday morning, Daily Nation newspaper ran a headline titled “Murumbi Land Ownership Row Haunts Ruto”.

Responding to the headline, the seemingly angry Ruto said that the news was fake and sponsored.

Accusing the media house of being bankrupt, Ruto said that it has become hard for them to make a sale without his name on the headline.

“The now persistent, obviously sponsored FAKE NEWS by hired bankrupt media that finds it difficult to make a sale without the name Ruto. Bure kabisa. Riswa! ” Ruto tweeted.

Two months ago, Ruto put The Star Newspaper on the spot over a story on their cover page.

Ruto referred to The Star’s cover story that was titled ‘Ruto Allies Plot to Scuttle Uhuru-Raila Referendum’, as fake news.

According to the Deputy President, it was uncouth of newspapers, to use his name to sell stories even when he was not involved in the said news.

The DP has also been at odds with Standard Newspaper several over controversial headlines.

Deputy President Dr William Ruto is known for criss-crossing the country launching various development projects with some Kenyans speculating that it is a strategy of earning himself a political mileage ahead of 2022 presidential race.

The DP has launched various projects in Western Kenya region and other parts of the country. But are all of these projects normally ready before he launches them?

Well, the DP is in a spot for prematurely launching a Sh5.3 billion irrigation project without the knowledge of line ministries.

According to the Standard, Ruto launched the Lower Nzoia irrigation and flood mitigation project on June 7 when it was not ready for commissioning due to pending compensation for land owners.

Water and Sanitation Principal Secretary Joseph Irungu on Tuesday told the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee there was no formal communication that Ruto was to launch the project.

Mr Irungu said they were still addressing compensation delays for affected families in Busia and Siaya Counties.

The Opiyo Wandayi-led team also heard that the National Land Commission (NLC) and National Irrigation Board (NIB) were not involved in the launch.

NIB is the implementing agency while NLC is involved in land acquisition for the project that is meant to end perennial flooding as well as help to increase food production.

“There was no contact between the DP’s office and my office. Even my project engineer was not there. Compensation is a very sensitive matter, which we must handle well,” said Irungu.

However, Water Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui was present for the launch.

Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa on Tuesday was the talk of the day after she met ODM party leader Raila Odinga, a move that shocked many Kenyans.

Jumwa who is a rebel member of the ODM party is currently allied to deputy president Dr William Ruto. Her meeting with Raila at her Parliamentary Service Commission Office on Tuesday afternoon came after Raila’s ODM Parliamentary Group meeting at County Hall which Jumwa never attended.

In a tweet that was immediately pulled down, ODM said that the rebel MP was back to the party since it was her DNA and that she had vowed to support and campaign for ODM candidate in Kibra by-elections Bernard Imran Okoth.

Image

But later on, Aisha Jumwa denied having dumped DP Ruto nor endorsing Imran for Kibra seat.

She said through her social media account that Raila had only made a surprise visit to her Parliamentary Service Commission Office and that she was not even aware of the ODM Parliamentary Group meeting at County Hall.

Well, was the Opposition leader’s meeting at Malindi MP’s office a coincidence or was it planned?

Reports by a local daily says that Loyal women MPs allied to Raila were not amused after he visited the office of the rebel Malindi MP yesterday.

Aisha seemed to have been in communication with Raila. After the  ODM Parliamentary Group meeting, Raila went straight to Aisha’s swanky office.

Surprisingly, this happened despite Aisha’s boycott of the ODM PG.

The women MPs were grumbling in the corridors of Parliament, wondering how Aisha manages to capture the attention of top political bosses across the divide.

She’s DP William Ruto’s cheerleader at the Coast and shortly after meeting Raila, she met Ruto alongside other Jubilee legislators in a bid to support Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga’s Kibra parliamentary race.

Then what was it that ODM said she had vowed to campaign for Imran?

“This evening I did join the Deputy President William Ruto and other legislators and meet up with Devine church elders and pastors at Mash Park Hotel Nairobi in a bid to support Mariga for Kibra Constituency,” reads Aisha Jumwa’s facebook post.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga will be left homeless if Kibra constituency is taken away from him, political analyst Ambrose Weda has said.

Speaking on Monday morning during a morning talk show dubbed Morning Express on KTN News, Weda said that Kibra is like Raila’s home since he has represented it for a long time.

The analyst says that despite Raila’s native home being Bondo, his real political home is Kibra.

His remark comes a day after various aspirants in the forthcoming mini polls stormed Kibra on Sunday to launch their manifesto.

Jubilee Candidate McDonald Mariga, Ford Kenya candidate Khamisi Butichi, ANC’s Eliud Owalo and ODM’s Imran Okoth were in different parts of the constituency to woo voters.

While Mariga, Owalo and Butichi held rallies in different locations, Imran resolved to doing door to door campaigns after attending several church services in the region.

However, out of the three rallies, Mariga is believed to have had a huge crowd, which has been seen as a bigger threat to Raila’s ODM, an incident Kenyans say is an upper hand for Mariga.

Deputy President William Ruto has already expressed confidence that the Jubilee party will triumph in the coming Kibra Constituency By-elections scheduled for November 7th.

Ruto said that already, the Jubilee administration has transformed Kibra through the construction of roads and toilets, which he said had not been done for several years, despite the leadership of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Details of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy Dr William Ruto’s marriage back in 2013 have emerged amid president Kenyatta’s 2022 succession debate.

Former Kiambu County governor William Kabogo has opened up on what brought about the marriage, and the secrets that downplayed the 2013 deal between the President Kenyatta and his deputy.

Speaking during KTN’s PointBlank show on Wednesday night, Kabogo claimed that Ruto misled Uhuru to give up the 2013 presidency.

Kabogo claimed he confronted Ruto for misleading Uhuru to give up his presidential candidacy when he maintained his running-mate slot.

He further said the pressure to have Uhuru out of the race was mainly because of the cases against them at the International Criminal Court, which was touching the two.

He wondered why Ruto was not ready to opt out of the race but backed Uhuru’s decision to back Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi instead in a deal that was later divorced.

“I believe Kenyatta was put under immense pressure by interested parties. We went to his place and spent 10 to 15 hours talking with him,” he said.

“Ruto came and I was offended with him because he had agreed to give out Uhuru’s candidacy but maintained his.”

Do you remember the short-lived deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi back in 2013?

Well, former Kiambu governor William Kabogo has revealed the secret between Uhuru-Mudavadi deal that was withdrawn a few moments to 2013 general elections.

Speaking during KTN News’ point blank show on Wednesday night, Kabogo recounted the dramatic U-turn by Uhuru to run for president in 2013 after he had decided to back Mudavadi for the top seat.

He claimed he confronted Deputy President Dr Wiliam Ruto for misleading Uhuru to give up his presidential candidacy when he maintained his running-mate slot.

Kabogo said the pressure to have Uhuru out of the race was mainly because of the cases against them at the International Criminal Court, which was touching the two.

Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has revealed deputy president Dr William Ruto’s master plan to assert authority and his presence in Nairobi ahead of 2022 presidential race.

Speaking during Citizen TV’s JKLIVE show on Wednesday night, Millie said that Ruto is trying to use the forthcoming Kibra by-elections to stamp his authority on Nairobi.

She maintained that the Jubilee party’s entry into Kibra politics is not about ODM party leader Raila Odinga, citing that Ruto’s URP party is only trying to spread its roots in Nairobi.

She cited that Kalenjin community has been missing on the list of communities that have authority over Nairobi, and Ruto is now trying to bring it in ahead of 2022.

She says Luhyia, Luo, Kamba and Kikuyu communities have been believed to be popular communities in Nairobi over a long period of time.

According to her, the DP managed to take over Lang’ata constituency in he past 2017 polls with the win of Nixon Korir, and is now trying to spread his roots in Kibra before shifting to Roysambu and other places in Nairobi.

The vocal MP believes that McDonald Mariga is only being used by Ruto to help him stamp his authority on Nairobi to make things easier for him in 2022.

Vote-rich western Kenya region has yet again fallen apart despite numerous calls by region’s leaders for long desired luhyia unity.

This follows failure of two political front runners from the region, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula and Amani National Congress (ANC) boss Musalia Mudavadi, to front one candidate for the Kibra by-election after numerous meetings between the two parties initially agreed to back one candidate.

After Mudavadi’s ANC unveiling former ODM leader Raila Odinga’s aide Eliud Owalo ahead of the upcoming Kibra mini polls, Wetangula went ahead to unveil Engineer Khamisi Butichi to fly Ford Kenya’s flag in Kibra.

In addition, ANC has declared that its leader, Mr Mudavadi, who last year was installed as the Luhya kingpin, does not need any endorsement from any particular leader from the region to vie for the presidency in 2022.

In recent past, the region’s political leaders have been sharply divided along two camps; those supporting Deputy President William Ruto and those backing Mudavadi’s presidential ambitions.

There are those also those who have thrown their support behind the Raila.

DP Ruto has been making numerous trips to the region to sway voters towards his support ahead of 2022 President Uhuru Kenyatta succession race.

Ruto through his trips has been able to win support from a section of leaders who are now working hard to sway voters towards his camp.

The DP is now banking on National Assembly chief whip Ben Washiali, former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale, former sports cabinet secretary Rashid Echesa, Matungu MP Justus Murunga, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa, Sirisia MP John Waluke, Webuye East MP Dan Wanyama, Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka among others.

The Ruto camp has also been calling on Mudavadi to shelve his ambitions and team up with the DP.

Reports that close friends of Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa have formed a new political party complicates matters even further.

The new outfit, Democratic Action Party of Kenya, received a provisional certificate on August 2 from the Registrar of Political Parties.

The new outfit has David Muchele as interim chairman while Kizito Temba, Wamalwa’s personal assistant, is the secretary. Wamalwa is yet to confirm or deny links to the party, which adds to numerous others in the region.

With all these confusion in Western region over who to support, DP Ruto can easily sail through and win the hearts of the voters ahead of 2022 race.
