Heated Reactions As Mutahi Ngunyi Alleges Political Assassination On Popular Tangatanga Senator

Renown political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has sparked mixed reactions after taking to his official social media accounts to allege a political assassination on Jubilee nominated Senator Victor Prengei.

Senator Prengei who became popular among Kenyans when Jubilee party wanted to kick him out alongside Senator Millicent Omanga over disloyalty last year, died in an accident on Monday night August 16, at Gioto area in Nakuru County.

He was a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto.

His death was death was confirmed by area police boss Beatrice Kiraguri.

Reports indicate that Prengei was heading towards Kabarak direction from Nakuru Town, when the vehicle he was driving lost control and careened off the road before landing in a ditch at 9:45pm.

According to police, it was a self-involved accident, meaning the legislator’s vehicle did not ram an oncoming vehicle or one headed the same direction.

Prengei was rushed to Nakuru War Memorial Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.

However, Mutahi Ngunyi has read malice in the manner in which the accident occurred.

Taking to his official Twitter account, the political analyst argued that there is someone who was going to benefit from the death of the lawmaker.

According to Ngunyi, Prengei might have been assassinated through an accident. He further argued that the political beneficiary is the one who killed the senator.

“The QUI BONO question: Who BENEFITS if Senator Victor Prengei is ASSASSINATED through an accident? The political beneficiary is the one who KILLED him. Simple,” he tweeted.

Mutahi Ngunyi’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with a section of netizens telling hi off. Some urged him to stop politicizing the death.

Mutahi Ngunyi Explains How Raila Will Easily Defeat Ruto in 2022 Without GEMA Support

Renown political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has explained how Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga will easily defeat Deputy President William Ruto come 2022.

Taking to his official twitter account on Thursday October 1, 2020, Ngunyi used the 2013 and 2017 general elections to explain how the former Prime Minister will have an easy fight should he vie against DP Ruto in 2022.

Ngunyi noted that the African Union envoy had a total vote of 44% in both the 2013 and 2017 general elections.

According to Ngunyi, Raila needs only 6% of the votes from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Mt Kenya backyard to win in 2022.

In this case, Ngunyi explained that President Kenyatta only needs to get 6% of GEMA to make Raila the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.

He went on to claim that the small percentage need is only a half of Kiambu County, or Akorino religious women only.

According to Mutahi Ngunyi, President Kenyatta does not need the whole of Kikuyu community to make Raila President.

He further claimed that DP Ruto cannot win against Raila even after getting an 84% of GEMA votes.

“Raila had 44% of the VOTE in 2013 and 2017. It is still INTACT. Uhuru needs 6% of GEMA to make Raila President. This is half of KIAMBU or AKORINO women ONLY. Uhuru DOES NOT NEED Kikuyus. In fact, 84% of GEMA can follow RUTO if they want to. And they will still FAIL! Simple MATH” tweeted Mutahi Ngunyi.

The 2022 general presidential contest  has  been viewed  by many Kenyans as a tough race between DP Ruto and the Orange party leader.

However, Raila has on several occasions denied having declared any interest in the 2022 presidential race, but his allies have been pushing him to vie.

Some political leaders allied to DP Ruto have claimed that Raila wants to use the famious Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) to climb to power come 2022.

The DP on the other hand has been traversing the country to popularize his Presidential quest, with the youth being his main target.

He has been empowering the youth through donation of equipment to support their projects, with donation of wheelbarrows and handcarts attracting criticism from his critics.

Itumbi Badly Exposes Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi

Former State House Director of Digital and Diaspora Communication Dennis Itumbi has badly exposed renown political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi.

Mutahi Ngunyi had been earlier accused of scripting last Sunday’s Punchline show, a political talk show that airs every Sunday night on K24 Tv, hosted by Anne Kiguta.

In the show, Mutahi Ngunyi was the main guest, among several others.

During the show, a scathing attack was launched against Deputy President Dr William Ruto, with even the host declaring using facts, that the second in command will never be the President of Kenya.

Anne Kiguta, on behalf of K24 TV, stated that DP Ruto had no chance of becoming President in 2022.

She said K24 TV had made the prediction after observing the infighting for the control of Jubilee Party over the past week.

Kiguta said there was no doubt that President Uhuru Kenyatta had a fall out with his deputy who she accused of faking togetherness where there was none.

“While reporting these events that have followed, we have often debated why the DP has stayed where he is clearly not wanted, why face the humiliation? why create the illusion that all is well while clearly, it’s not? why create the image of togetherness where there is none? How does it benefit the DP?“

“For many of DP’s allies is that they have mistakenly thought that they could force the President into the past days working together…we observe only way out for the DP and that its – stop fighting reality. Living in the real world as horrible as it is frees you to make decisions that can work in the present,” K24’s editorial continued as read out by Ms Kiguta.

However, Itumbi on the morning of Friday April 24, revealed that it was Mutahi Ngunyi who scripted the editorial piece that was read by Anne Kiguta.

Itumbi went ahead to reveal that it was indeed Mutahi Ngunyi who invited guests on the show. To prove this, Itumbi exposed private chats that Mutahi Ngunyi had with some of the guests on the show.

“Goodmorning my Friend @MutahiNgunyi – Be slow to DENY next time buddy. You not only scripted #Punchline for @AnneKiguta – You also invited guests to the show. #SystemYaFacts,” he tweeted.

On April 20, Mutahi Ngunyi had denied the allegations of scripting the editorial piece for K24 TV, arguing that the editorial had nothing but panashe.

“Hello my FREN @OleItumbi. I think @AnneKiguta Editorial on #Punchline had NOTHING but Panashe (google word). And thanks for SUGGESTING that I wrote it with my @5thestateKE gang. In the MEANTIME, read a BOOK my FREN! It makes a lot of DIFFERENCE! ” he posted.

By the time of publishing this article, Mutahi Ngunyi had not yet responded to Dennis Itumbi’s latest allegations.

VIDEO: Controversial Political Analyst Hints at Next Mt Kenya Kingpin

Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has hinted at the next Mt Kenya kingpin.

Ngunyi, in an interview with K24 on Sunday night, identified Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe as the man who might be picked to lead the region henceforth, terming him ‘the possible chief in waiting’.

“CS Mutahi Kagwe is a possible chief in waiting among the Kikuyus,” said the man behind the ‘tyranny of numbers’ prediction, where he foresaw Uhuru enjoying the backing of majority of MPs ahead of his 2013 election, a prophecy that came to pass.

He based the observation on Kagwe’s performance in his current position, stating that he has done a brilliant job as the main man in the ongoing battle against the Coronavirus pandemic.

He said that he can see another former President Mwai Kibaki in the CS, adding that he might end up leading the Kikuyu community as Kibaki did between 2002 and 2013, before handing over to Uhuru.

“I think he has done his job splendidly. He interned in the school as Kibaki. He speaks and acts like Kibaki,” he added.

But his remarks might not amuse Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru, who until recently, was being seen as one of the frontrunners in the race to take over from Uhuru come 2022.

Waiguru has been very vocal about Mt Kenya affairs lately, which has made her appear interested in leading the community post Uhuru.

Last year, she said that the region is ready to support former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the presidency. The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM ) leader has for a very long time been unwanted in the region.

A number of commentators have also been suggesting that she might feature in the next government, especially in case of an expansion of the executive, as a representative of the region.

Murkomen Attacks Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi Over Ruto

Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has launched an attack against political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi over his comments on Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s speech.

DP Ruto on Thursday morning addressed the nation on the COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the country.

His address however, went against many people’s expectations, that led to them attacking the DP on social media.

Mutahi Ngunyi is among the people who criticized the second in command’s speech.

Taking to his twitter handle immediately DP Ruto finished addressing the nation, Mutahi Ngunyi argued that DP Ruto had appointed himself Co-President and gave a statement from his Co-Government.

He said that one has to read President Kenyatta’s eyes for him/her to understand him, and read DP Ruto’s body language for you to understand him.

“To UNDERSTAND Uhuru Kenyatta, read his EYES. To UNDERSTAND “Deputy President William Ruto”, READ his BODY LANGUAGE. Today it is COMBATIVE and DEFIANT. He has appointed himself Co-President and is giving a statement from his Co-Government. This is BOLD!” Mutahi Ngunyi tweeted.

Responding to the tweet, Murkomen attacked the political analyst, arguing that he knew whoever Mutahi Ngunyi was working for.

Murkomen said that the person in question was using the COVID-19 pandemic to do politics, terming the move s a shameless and evil scheme.

The Elgeyo Marakwet senator says the person’s mission for 2 years has been to annihilate the DP politically.

Murkomen says this is the time for unity and not division, arguing that all governments in the world are utilizing not sidelining their leaders.

“You are tweeting for a person I KNOW.That PERSON is doing politics with COVID19,-a shameless evil scheme!His mission for 2 years has been to annihilate the DP politically.This is time for unity not division.All governments in the world are utilizing not sidelining their leaders,” he tweeted.
